A man has appeared in court accused of a robbery with an imitation firearm.

Adil Riaz, aged 30, of Whiteways Road, Grimesthorpe, is accused of robbing two men, aged 19 and 20, on Attercliffe Common, Attercliffe, on Monday, September 14.

South Yorkshire Police said an imitation firearm is alleged to have been used in the incident, which was reported at 5pm that day.

Riaz has been charged with two counts of robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, a firearm offence and driving offences.
