A MAN has been charged with the murder of a South Yorkshire woman whose body was found in the boot of her car.
The 63-year-old, from Doncaster, was due at court this morning accused of killing 46-year-old Joy Billam, of Garden Street, Goldthorpe, over the weekend.
A 16-year-old boy has also been charged with assisting offenders involved in the murder.
He too was due at court this morning.
The murder victim’s body was discovered in the boot of her purple Ford Fusion which was parked on Doncaster Road, near to the junction with the A635, at around midday on Saturday October 1.
Post mortem results revealed she died from strangulation.
