Man charged over murder of Doncaster woman Amy Stringfellow
A man has been charged over the murder of a woman found critically injured at a house in Doncaster.
Terence Papworth, aged 45 and formerly of Dryden Road, Balby, is accused of murdering 26-year-old Amy Stringfellow on Friday, June 5.
Amy, a personal trainer and mum-of-one, was found critically injured in a house on Dryden Road when emergency services were called at 11.35pm.
She could not be saved and was pronounced dead a short time later – triggering a murder probe.
Papworth was quizzed throughout yesterday and after being charged was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Detectives and crime scene investigators spent much of yesterday at the house where Amy’s body was found.
