A shot was reportedly fired into the ground during an assault at Kettle Black on Ecclesall Road on Friday, January 10, just before 11pm.

Luca Premi has been charged with possession of a bladed article, possession of an imitation firearm and assault.

The 24-year-old, of Treswell Crescent, Hillsborough, has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday, January 13.

Police said a 36-year-old man had been taken to hospital following the incident and treated for minor injuries, which it said had not been caused by the shooting.

South Yorkshire Police have asked anyone with information to call them on 101, quoting the incident number 955, of Friday, January 10.
