Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked with a golf club and metal pole and then robbed in Doncaster.

The man was walking along an alleyway between West End Avenue and Royston Avenue, in Bentley, when he was approached by two men between 1.30am and 2am on Saturday, July 25.

They assaulted him with a golf club and metal pole, before demanding his mobile phone and bank card.

He suffered hand injuries and was treated in hospital.

The first suspect was white, skinny, around 5ft 4ins, aged between 18 and 21-years-old and was wearing dark clothing with his hood up. The second man was white, skinny, around 6ft tall, aged between 18 and 21 and was also wearing dark clothing.
