Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving after milkman is seriously injured in crash in Sheffield

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash which left a Sheffield milkman seriously injured this morning.

South Yorkshire Police said a white Mercedes E-Class and a white Ford Transit milk float were involved in a crash on Upper Hanover Street, close to the junction with Glossop Road in the city centre, at 2.15am.

CRIME: Police use Taser after motorist assaults officer following crash in Sheffield The driver of the Mercedes, a 27-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving while the 59-year-old man driving the milk float was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
