A man was arrested on suspicion of being a drug dealer after being found by the police carrying drugs, cash, scales and dealer bags.

He was arrested when officers carrying out a knife crime operation in the foyer of a block of flats in Stannington came face to face with him as he stepped out of a lift.
South Yorkshire Police said that upon seeing officers, the man attempted to run off.

Hide AdHe was stopped and a search of his bag led to the discovery of thousands of pounds worth of cannabis bagged up into individual deals.
He was also found to be carrying cash, weighing scales and dealer bags.
South Yorkshire Police said: “If you ever needed a text book display of what to look for if a person is dealing drugs well this is it.”
