Man appears in court in Sheffield accused of FIFTEEN burglaries

A man has appeared in court accused of 15 burglaries in Sheffield and Barnsley.

Andrew Deeley, aged 56, of no fixed abode, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates Court yesterday charged with 15 counts of burglary.

They relate to 10 distraction burglaries reported in Sheffield between May 7 and June 8 and five committed in Barnsley between June 7 and 8.

Anyone with information about burglaries should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
