Man and woman arrested after drugs raids in Sheffield suburb

Two people have been arrested after police carried out two simultaneous drugs raids in a Sheffield suburb today.

Officers from the Burngreave Neighbourhood team executed two drugs warrants and made two arrests before processing both offenders for possession of class A substances, with the intent to supply.

They said: “After gathering intelligence over a number of weeks through various avenues, officers made quick work of hitting both addresses simultaneously and swiftly apprehended the offenders in full flow.”

Both the male and female are due in court next month.
