It is however not known whether his injuries are life-threatening.

According to a resident, they heard "noises" at around 4am this morning and that someone was stabbed.

It is believed that the street was cordoned off until around midday.

Bloodstains – which are believed to be related to the incident – could also still be seen on the street.
