Offenders from across South Yorkshire and Sheffield are continuing to be sentenced at Sheffield crown and magistrates’ courts.

Cases here include a speeding driver who killed a 15-year-old pedestrian, an armed robber who struck twice with a bamboo and a hammer, and a jealous knife-wielding man who stabbed his friend.

Judges have imposed a range of sentences upon the defendants - including jail in some cases - after considering any mitigating circumstances.

In other cases, a pervert was snared by online decoys set-up by paedophile hunters and another offender was exposed by paedophile hunters at his home by live-streaming on Facebook.
