British Transport Police has confirmed a fatality on railway tracks in South Yorkshire following an incident earlier today.
Emergency services were called to Kirk Sandall station, Doncaster, at 12.34pm following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
A spokesman said: “Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
