Kerry Taylor due in court accused of murdering woman in Sheffield

A woman is due to make her first appearance at court today since being charged with the murder of another woman in Sheffield.

Kerry Taylor, aged 41, is accused of killing a 55-year-old woman in a flat in Ravenscroft Place, Richmond, on Saturday, July 4.

Emergency services were called at 10.30pm and found a woman with stab wounds.

Taylor, of Ravenscroft Place, was charged over the death yesterday and remanded in police custody ahead of a hearing at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court today.

A 36-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder over the death was released under investigation after questioning.
