Jewellery stolen during burglary in Chesterfield

Jewellery was stolen from a house in Chesterfield after a patio door was forced open during daylight hours.

The house on Peveril Road was burgled between 8.15am and 7.30pm on Saturday, March 14.

A gold ladies’ watch with a mother of pearl face and expandable wristband was stolen along with a gold chain and a pair of gold hooped earrings.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area during the day, or who may have been offered similar items for sale.
