Burglars are being hunted after jewellery and medals for charity runs were stolen in two raids in Whiston.
Jewellery was taken from a house in Saville Road between 4pm on Friday, April 22 and 9.30am on Saturday, April 23 and running medals were taken from a house in Whiston Vale on Monday, April 25.
PC Garry Pratt said: “Burglary is an intrusive crime that can cause considerable distress for victims.
“The items taken hold sentimental value.”
Police believe the crimes may be linked.
