Investigations underway into burglaries in Sheffield

A burglar smashed a pane of glass in a door to get into a house in Sheffield.

The crook struck on Bocking Lane, Greenhill, overnight on Saturday, March 28.

Officers in the city are also investigating an attempted burglary last week.

Offenders damaged a lock to try to get into a house on Psalter Lane, Nether Edge, but failed to get inside.

Another offender damaged a lock to break into a garage on Westwick Crescent, Greenhill, but left empty-handed.

A bike was stolen from a garage on Hemsworth Road, Hemsworth, Sheffield and a shed was also burgled on an allotment on Mickley Lane, Totley.
