Investigation launched after armed robbery at Sheffield shop

Police have launched an investigation following an armed robbery at a Sheffield shop.

Officers were called to the One Stop store on Tilford Road, Woodhouse, at around 7:20pm on Saturday, December 7 following reports of an armed robbery.

Two men are believed to have threatened staff with a knife before fleeing the scene with a quantity of money.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 815 of December 7.

The incident is not the first for the store in Woodhouse.

On January 27 this year, police were called to the same One Stop following reports of an attempted robbery.

Andrew Walter Peter Bailey, of Rodman Street, near Woodhouse Mill, was later charged in connection with the incident.

Last October, an appeal was also issued by police after the shop was broken into by two men.
