A 62-year-old woman was found with serious head injuries after an incident on High Street at 11.20pm on Sunday, December 29.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance and remained in a serious but stable condition last night.
Two men, aged 55 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of serious assault.
Detectives are treating the incident as a ‘targeted attack’.
