Jamie O'Sullivan was found safe at an address in Ridgeway, Sheffield, yesterday – six days after he was reported missing.

A 45-year-old woman and a boy, 16, were both arrested in connection with the disappearance yesterday and remained in police custody last night.Jamie was reported missing from the Haigh Moor Lane area of Swallownest, Rotherham, on Wednesday, November 27.Detectives had believed that he was with people known to him in the Beighton area, where the search was concentrated, but he was found in Ridgeway yesterday.

Jamie had been in touch with family members while he was missing, but the police search was unable to be called off until officers had seen and spoken to him themselves.

Acting Detective Inspector Nigel Taaffe said officers were ‘immensely grateful for the outpouring of public support’ shown as officers searched for Jamie.
