and live on Freeview channel 276
Carl Simmonite, owner of independent butcher shop and deli Simmonite, says this is the second attack the business has suffered since it opened on Division Street seven years ago.
Vandals smashed a window on the left hand side of the shop, overlooking the display counter, last night (Wednesday, March 4).

“Nothing was taken, but it still takes away from the time and effort we’re putting in here. Life’s hard enough for all of us at is.
“I’d never want to put people in boxes, but there was a match on last night- I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
“But there’s no specific reason for anyone to attack us, it just happens and is something you have to deal with.”

In the meantime, they are keen to stress to Simmonite customers that the shop is open as normal, selling fresh meat, fish and deli items.
“We’re open from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week,” Carl added. “We're pretty much always open.”
Anyone with information should report it to South Yorkshire Police on 101.
