A house in Killamarsh has been boarded up for three months in a bid to stop anti-social behaviour at the property.
North East Derbyshire District Council obtained a court order to board up the house following complaints about the behaviour of visitors to the property. It may seek a possession order.
Councillor Lillian Robinson, the council’s Cabinet Member for Community Safety, said: “This was a huge problem which was causing distress to local residents.
“This should also serve as a warning to others that we will not tolerate this type of behaviour and we will use whatever powers and action are appropriate and available to us.”
