“Thankfully no one was hurt. The quad was not insured and was seized. The rider was dealt with for traffic offences.
He told officers, ‘honest, its the first time I’ve used it on the road,” only for someone to come out of a nearby shop, asking officers: “Have you seized that?”
When police replied ‘yes’, the passer by responded: “He’s out on it all the time!”
