Heartbroken family reveal ‘beautiful soul’ Danny Irons was ‘stabbed to death’ in Sheffield

The 32-year-old was found seriously injured on Fretson Green, Manor, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Emergency services were deployed but he could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A heartbroken relative has revealed that Danny, who was a father, was stabbed to death.

Posting a tribute on Facebook, she described him as ‘such a beautiful soul’.

The hunt for Danny’s killer is continuing today and residents have been warned to expect a heavy police presence in the Manor area for a number of days.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Oughton, investigating, said: “I know this incident will concern the community who live in the Manor area and I’d like to reassure the public that we are doing all we can to find those responsible.”
