Good Samaritan helped OAP who was knocked to the ground in attempted robbery in Rotherham

An 86-year-old man was walking along Eastwood Lane, Eastwood, Rotherham, at around 11.15am on Monday, February 17 when a woman tried to snatch his walking stick.

A 42-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the incident, but detectives want to trace the Good Samaritan to speak to him as a witness.
