‘Give my brother strength’: Sheffield man fighting for life weeks after Ecclesall Road attack

A Sheffield man is still fighting for life three weeks after an attack on Ecclesall Road.

Tyson Mahmood, aged 36, was left fighting for life after the attack on Saturday, September 19 and was airlifted to hospital for emergency treatment.

He remains in intensive care in a critical condition.

Louis Ward, 27, of Broomfield Road, Broomhall, Sheffield, has been charged with assault.

Another 27-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, both arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, were released from custody while enquiries continue.
