‘Get down here or I will stab you’ – Woman threatened with knife in Barnsley

Police are appealing for information and have issued an e-fit image of a man after a woman was reportedly threatened with a knife in Wombwell, Barnsley.

The incident took place at around 11pm on Saturday, August 8, when the 25-year-old was walking along Summer Lane, approaching the junction with Cemetery Road.

She was then approached by a man who allegedly threatened her with a knife and said ‘get down here or I will stab you’.

The woman has since been able to give officers a description of a man who they would like to identify as part of their investigation.

The man is described as white, in his 30s, tall, slim build with a dark beard and eyebrows. He was wearing a khaki hoodie and dark joggers.
