Fox Hill Sheffield: ‘At least 10 police cars’ swarm onto street following reported assault of woman

Residents reported seeing a ‘huge’ police presence, with at least 10 police cars, and multiple ambulances in the Fox Hill area of the city last night.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson has stated that a 59-year-old man has been arrested after officers were called to Fox Hill Road at around 7.45pm last night (June 27), following reports a woman had been assaulted.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and assault of an emergency worker, and this afternoon (June 28) he remains in police custody.
