Four more men arrested after Sheffield man, 20, shot dead

A further four men have been arrested in connection with the death of Ramey Salem in Sheffield.

Salem, 20, was shot dead in the early hours of the morning at a house on Grimesthorpe Road South, Burngreave, on Monday, 16 November and died later in hospital.

A post-mortem examination revealed he died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.

Over the weekend four men, three aged 18 and one aged 21, were arrested on suspicion of murder following police activity across Sheffield. They remain in police custody.

Last Thursday morning (19 November), a 21-year-old man from Sheffield was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, and a 33-year-old man, also from the city, was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

They have both since been released under investigation.

Detectives are still appealing for information as part of their enquiries.
