Four casualties in car crash which damaged shopfront of Sheffield business
Four people were injured in a car crash which blocked a busy Sheffield road and caused damage to a shopfront.
Emergency services rushed to Attercliffe Common just after 6pm on Friday following the collision, which involved two cars.
The road was blocked next to the junction with Coleridge Road and the English Institute Of Sport while police, paramedics and three fire crews from Rivelin, Elm Lane and Parkway dealt with the incident.
Part of the shopfront of Zap Garage Doors was damaged by one of the cars, while the other appeared to have spun into the road.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue said: “Four casualties were in the hands of paramedics when firefighters arrived.
"Our crews didn’t have to cut anyone out, they just stabilised the cars and made the area safe before leaving at around 6.45pm.”
The condition of the casualties is not known.
