FOUR men have been arrested on suspicion of causing damage to land in North Derbyshire.
Police acted after receiving information that four 4x4s were driving on land at Markham Lane, Chesterfield, on Sunday, May 20, at about 4pm.
Officers found the vehicles in a field near to a disused railway line.
Three men from South Yorkshire and one from Barlborough, North Derbyshire, were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
One was also arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for the police.
The men have all been bailed pending further enquiries.
