Sheffield Magistrates’ Court heard on December 17 how Alex Ransom, aged 25, of Oxhill, Halfway, Sheffield, applied to have his BBR of a suspended sentence order - which had been imposed for an assault - to be removed. The probation service stated Ransom had been given an 18 month SSO in July with a BBR for an assault and he had completed half the required modules. But Ransom has had difficulties in relation to accommodation and had been of no fixed abode and was living in his car but he has since moved in with his parents, according to the probation service. The probation service stated there is an application to remove the remaining BBR requirement because there is not enough time to complete it and they acknowledged the difficulties Ransom has been suffering.Magistrates agreed to remove the BBR requirement.
