Jordan, 25, died at Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital after being found in Market Place, Retford, on January 25 with a suspected fractured skull.

The football community in South Yorkshire got together to pay tribute to the former Chesterfield player, with Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham United and Doncaster Rovers all among those to donate shirts with ‘Sinnott 25’ on the back.

Jordan’s school friend and Sheffield Wednesday player Josh Windass also dedicated his debut goal for the Owls to his late friend.

And Rotherham United wore black armbands in respect for Sinnott, who was also close friends with Millers player Matt Crooks.
