A wall of flowers has been laid at the scene of a Sheffield crash in which a teenager tragically died just days before Christmas.

The 19-year-old passenger, who has not yet been named, was pronounced dead at the scene on Hathersage Road, Dore, at around 10.15pm on Saturday (December 19).

It is understood that the 17-year-old driver lost control of his silver Ford Fiesta on a bend, causing the vehicle to flip.

South Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
