Police are issuing a warning to anyone attempting similar behaviour on Bonfire Night
Five teenagers have been arrested for setting off fireworks towards people and cars over Halloween - and police are warning that they have a “zero-tolerance approach” to anyone doing the same this Bonfire Night.
The teenagers, all aged between 15 and 16, were apprehended for their antics on Spital Hill, in the Burngreave area of Sheffield.
They have since been released on bail.

A Sheffield North East NPT spokesperson said: “This is not harmless fun, and is extremely dangerous. It can cost people their lives.”
Police are urging parents to talk to their children about the risks and dangers of fireworks ahead of Bonfire Night events.
They are calling on people to avoid garden fires which can spread and become dangerous, use fireworks responsibly and secure property like wheelie bins.
South Yorkshire Police have said that increased patrols will be taking place and control room are preparing for a surge in calls ahead of the night.
Superintendent Sarah Gilmour, who is leading the force’s efforts during the Dark Nights period, said: “Bonfire Night should be enjoyable for everyone, and the appalling actions of those who are intent on causing harm should not ruin everyone’s fun.
“We have a zero-tolerance approach to anyone who poses a threat to life, property, or public safety - including our officers, and for those under 18, parents will also face consequences.”
