Owner Beckie Spooner, aged 27, was asleep upstairs with her two-year-old son while her partner was at work when their home was broken into.

The thief or thieves responsible snatched the lilac and tan coloured dog, which the family has had for around a year, and they also stole some bottles of Stella Artois and a bottle of Bucks Fizz from the fridge.
