5. What other shootings have there been?
There were reports of shootings on Machon Bank and Glen Road in nearby Nether Edge during the early hours of Thursday, July 23, though no one is believed to have been injured.
Between May 7 and 8, four men were injured in separate shootings across the city, including three in Sharrow and Nether Edge.
Those shootings took place on Machon Bank, in Nether Edge; and Club Garden Road and Union Road, both in Sharrow.

6. Is the recent spate of shootings linked to a burglary at a Sheffield gunsmiths?
There has been speculation that guns stolen in a burglary at a Sheffield gunsmiths in April is behind the spike in shootings across the city.
Councillor Jim Steinke and now community leader Sahira Irshad have both said the timing is a coincidence, with Hardy's Gunsmiths on Alderson Road, Highfield, having been raided by thieves during the early hours of Friday, April 3.

7. Who is believed to be responsible?
Police have yet to release any information about the suspected culprits, but members of the community believe it is almost certainly connected to warring drug gangs.

8. How have police responded?
Police have launched an investigation and say they are pursuing a 'number of lines of enquiry’, including CCTV analysis and thorough searches.
Superintendent Delphine Waring said: “You may notice an increased police presence in the area throughout the day to provide reassurance to the local community. If you think you may have information which may help our officers, please do get in touch.
