The badly damaged Lamborghini, which had one of its sides torn off in the collision, came to a halt in the middle of the road, with fuel and oil pouring from the car.
Sheffield United striker Mousset, who lives in nearby Dore, was arrested after the crash and later charged.
A second man arrested in connection with the crash was issued with a penalty notice for wasting police time.
