South Yorkshire Police officers and colleagues from British Transport Police, Yorkshire Ambulance Service and South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue responded to safety concerns on Herries Road last night.

British Transport Police said thanks to a ‘team effort’ the man at the centre of the rescue operation ‘is now receiving help and support’.
