Emergency services called after car 'lands on top' of bollards in Sheffield

Emergency services were called to a collision opposite the McColl’s shop on Rural Lane, Wisewood after witnesses reported a car on top of some bollards.

Police attended the scene and interviewed witnesses this afternoon.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “Emergency services were called at 3.17pm today (January 19) following reports of a single vehicle collision on Rural Lane.

“It is reported that a white BMW 3 series was involved in a collision with some bollards.

“It is not thought that anyone was injured during the collision.”
