Ecclesall Road attack victim Tyson Mahmood still critical in Sheffield hospital

A man injured in an attack on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Tyson Mahmood, aged 36, was left fighting for life after the attack on Saturday, September 19 and was airlifted to hospital for emergency treatment.

Louis Ward, 27, of Broomfield Road, Broomhall, Sheffield, has been charged with assault.

Another 27-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, both arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, were released from custody while enquiries continue.
