Drugs, cash and air weapons seized by South Yorkshire firearms officers

Drugs, cash and air weapons were seized by South Yorkshire Police when officers stopped a car in Barnsley.

Firearms officers stopped the car in the Jump area of Barnsley and searched the driver and car in an operation earlier this week.

Posting about the stop search operation on Facebook, South Yorkshire Police said: “A quantity of drugs, cash and air weapons were seized.

“The driver was arrested and will be waiting for a chat with some officers about his stash.”
