Drug dealer 'standing out like a sore thumb' during lockdown is arrested in Sheffield

Police were patrolling the Parson Cross area when they spotted a drug deal going on between a pedestrian and a person in a car.
Officers intervened and confiscated a wraps of Class A drugs.

Hide AdA 26-year-old man from Firth Park was arrested for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. He is now in custody.
Police said that an arrest of another man will take place ‘in relation to the incident’.
A spokesperson for SYP added: “Drug users are standing out like sore thumbs in the current climate and that’s also the case for street dealers.
“We have local knowledge, we know who you are and trying to blend in with current restrictions by carrying shopping bags in an attempt to look as if you are on an essential trip simply won’t work.”
