Dozens of cannabis plants found inside Sheffield home after police raid property following complaints about suspicious behaviour

Police found dozens of what appears to be cannabis plants inside a Sheffield home today, after they raided a property following reports of suspicious behaviour around the property.

Officers rammed through the door of a house on Spring View Road today in search of drugs, after neighbours complained that there had been antisocial behaviour coming from the home.

Police found dozens of what looks like cannabis plants inside the property but no arrests have been made.

In a post on Facebook, Sheffield North West Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Today officers from the Broomhall team executed a warrant for drugs at Spring view Road.

"We have had a number of complaints from residents about this issue and the anti social behaviour it has generated.

"Forensic enquiries will continue to find those responsible - the last two people we found running such set ups received 4 years jail time between them and will be subject to deportation order.”
