Hide AdIt veered out of control as it was heading in the direction of the Sheffield Parkway, causing extensive damage the barber shop.
None of the children on the bus are believed to have been seriously injured but one was taken to hospital by ambulance and some concerned parents took a number of others as a precaution.
An investigation into the collision has been launched.
Stacey Swift, who co-owns the barber shop, told the BBC: “I'm fuming. I don't understand how it happened. Why our shop? We've been open just under a year, so we've lost everything.
“I've not seen all of the damage yet as they won't let me in. I can't believe it. I'm lost for words.”
