Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a house in North Derbyshire have re-appealed for witnesses.

On Saturday, January 25, at about 8.25pm, two men walked into a house in Field Drive, Shirebrook, and an argument broke out between them and two men and a woman inside.

One of the burglars fired a shot into a wall and the two men stole cash before driving off in a car.

The gunman was white, 5ft 7in, stocky and wearing a black balaclava and dark clothing. His accomplice was white, 5ft 10in and wore a green, military-style jacket, dark trousers and a black balaclava. He was holding a knife.

A small, light-coloured hatchback car with distinctive writing on the back, like graffiti, was seen in the area that night.
