Detectives name 20-year-old victim who died from 'multiple gunshot wounds' in Sheffield murder

Remey Saleh was taken to hospital after being seriously injured in Burngreave at around 1am yesterday morning (Monday, November 16).
The 20-year-old had allegedly been shot inside a property on Grimesthorpe Road South.

Hide AdToday, he has been formally identified as his family are supported by specially trained officers.
A post-mortem examination revealed that he died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.
DCI Mark Oughton, the officer leading the investigation, said: “I’d like to reassure local people that we are working around the clock to bring those responsible to justice.
"While we are in the early stages of the investigation, we believe this to be an isolated incident with no risk to the wider community.
