Sheffield Magistrates’ Court heard on January 18 how Daniel Marlow, aged 28, of no fixed abode, smashed an Audi A3 vehicle and a Transporter vehicle in Sheffield and was seen with a stick and a brick in his hand.
Stephanie Hollis, prosecuting, said the defendant had left a bail hostel but when he went to his brother’s address he was told he could not stay there.
Ms Hollis added Marlow returned and the complainant heard a noise and found the windows of a vehicle and the Transporter had been smashed and Marlow was armed with a brick and a stick.
The court heard Marlow is on licence for a previous assault and criminal damage matter and he is in breach of a restraining order and a conditional discharge for a separate matter.
Magistrates sentenced Marlow to eight weeks of custody.
