Defibrillator stolen from Barnsley Town Hall

A life-saving piece of equipment has been stolen from outside Barnsley Town Hall this week.

A statement from Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council said: “It is hard to believe that someone would take vital equipment, put in place to potentially save lives and protect the people in our communities.”

It is belived to have been taken between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning (December 3-4).
