Paja pleaded guilty to possessing the controlled class B drug cannabis with intent to supply, possessing cocaine, producing cannabis and to driving without insurance all from July 12.

Andrew Smith, defending, said: “He’s got no right to be in the UK but legally what he wants to do is find legal work and save his immigration status.”

Judge Rachael Harrison told Paja: “You weren’t merely growing. You were packaging it and delivering it.

“This was a professional set-up. The plants were concealed behind a door concealed with wall paper.”

She sentenced Paja to 14 months of custody and ordered that his car would be forfeited and six penalty points were placed on his driving licence.
