'Dark times' Facebook post of dead 'killer' just days before Doncaster murder

Terence Papworth, who was also known as Tez, was found dead at HMP Leeds at the weekend, just days before he was due to stand trial, accused of the murder of Doncaster mum Amy-Leanne Stringfellow at his home in Balby in June.
Ten days before the killing, Papworth, 45, had posted on Facebook about ‘dark times’ and not to trust ‘anyone.’

Hide AdA post on May 26, ten days before Amy-Leanne was found critically injured at a house in Dryden Road on June 5 said: “Don’t trust anyone in dark times even your own shadow will f*** off.”
The post has since been targeted with a number of comments targeting him
Papworth, a builder, was due to go on trial at Sheffield Crown Court next week accused of murdering mum-of-one Amy-Leanne, 26, who he had been in a relationship with.
According to reports, he was found dead in his cell on Sunday.

Hide AdEarlier today, South Yorkshire Police confirmed that ‘nobody else’ was being sought over the death.
Details of the circumstances surrounding his death have not yet been released but an inquest will be held.
In a statement South Yorkshire Police said “Papworth had been charged with murder but died before his trial, which had been listed to begin next week.
“We can confirm nobody else is being sought in connection with Amy-Leanne’s death.
“Files for the coroner will be prepared in relation to both deaths and it will be for the coroner to determine the circumstances.”
